Stay Cute and Comfy this Thanksgiving with these Outfit Ideas

Not sure what to wear to Thanksgiving? I’ve got you! Whether you are having a get together with family and friends or attending a zoom gathering, these looks are a perfect match. The fun part of making this blog is that nothing is new. No extra shopping trip was done virtual or in person . Just a mix of some of my fav’s that I find to be comfy and cute. I hope this gives you some inspiration to shop your own closet or help you find some pieces that you might need to compliment what you already own.

Pops of playful prints will be a hit. If you are a beginner print mixer, layer in an animal print headband it’s a subtle way to introduce mixing prints into your outfits. If you are ready for the next level of print mixing, try a small geometric pattern dress with a bigger print tight as I did above. This little dress is so forgiving when you splurge on those Thanksgiving treats! Keeping with the theme of comfort, I paired it with the fall must have trend of a moto boot.

One of my go-to versatile pieces, is this denim jumpsuit, if you have been following me for a while you are no stranger to it. The key to making any jumpsuit multifaceted is to layer pieces that are appropriate for the occasion you are dressing for. These Stuart Weitzman sock booties dress up this look without trying to hard, the heel is mid height giving you just enough boost without breaking an ankle.

Feeling a like you want to dress up a bit but not feel overdressed? A flirty faux leather mini and a button up cardi is the perfect pairing to go for. The soft bubbly cardigan balances out the sleek pleats of the skirt, it’s about complimenting fabrics and textures, not matching them up.

Did you think I would forget a classic like a sweater and denim combo ? No Never! Snag a statement sweater and your best jeans (with a lot of stretch of course ) to pull off this classic yet stylish outfit. To kick it up a notch pair it with a great pair of suede boots. Try and keep the accessories to a minimum the idea is to allow one statement piece to shine .

Last but not least, is this faux leather leggings puff sleeve outfit and it actually is what I will be wearing on Thanksgiving day. These Zara leggings are really a soft, stretchy and super comfy ! Bring a feminine flair to the edgy vibes of these leggings by mixing it up with a soft puff sleeve sweater and pearl headband (diy on how to make that cutie on a previous blog post) Third image is what I actually will look like an hour after I arrive to my sisters for Thanksgiving! So friends don’t forget to always pack a pair of cozy slippers and a hair tie! Even with those “real” modifications the outfit still looks cute and put together ! A Total WIN!

Hope you enjoyed this little outfit round up and you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Remember if you are looking to update your wardrobe or need any type of personalized styling I’d love to help! Email me at whatthej@ccbyjc.com and let’s chat!

XO,

Julia
