I am always trying to find new ways on how to make the most out of my wardrobe, although I love to shop, its not always a reality nor in my budget. So I look for other options to extend it and to make it my very own. One way I do it is with accessories.
People often ask me what my favorite accessory is, although its hard to choose because all accessories in my book are a necessity. But if I absolutely could only pick one I would pick it would be a scarf. I am not talking designer scarf that you have to spend a lot of money on, or a blanket scarf, nothing fancy just any scarf that has a pattern that resonates with you and that is just simply fun.
So much fun that I decided to make this blog a two-part series using 2 different scarves. This post I simply use a super affordable satin scarf that is under $4.00!!
For a fun whimsical look wear it has a headband, simply make a knot on the top of your head, so that the small ends are poking out just enough.
Wrap it around your wrist and wear it like a bracelet, a super soft and silky one of course!
For a romantic feel tie it around the base of your head around your hair, for this look, you don’t need to use an elastic, the whole point is to keep it super soft and effortless.
Adding a scarf can be used to show personal style or a signature look. How cute does this crossbody look dressed up with the scarf in such a unique way!
I love how the ends just pop out of the corners softening up the look of this bag. You can fold it in a way that features more or less of the print
Everyone has seen using a scarf as a belt, which is so adorable but how about a modern twist and just tie it to a belt hoop?
A perfect way to create a more modest look when you feel like your neckline is a little to open is to simply fold the scarf into a triangle and wrap it around your neck so that the points are in the back and tie the ends together, simple as that!
Here are a few more fun ways to wear a small affordable bandana size scarf around your neck.
This equestrian print scarf is so cute and just has enough pop of color that can be a stylish addition to any wardrobe! And for $4 ?? You can not go wrong!
The beauty of it is that it is quick and simple to do without breaking the bank.
These are just a few quick ways to use a scarf, but how great is it that one little accessory can be used to create so many different looks?! It goes with essentially anything in your closet. I styled it with a cute mini tapestry print skirt to your not so basic denim so versatile and inexpensive.
Hope you feel inspired to dig that scarf out of your closet and style it to make it your own or go and treat yourself to one.
Be on the lookout for part two of the post coming soon!!
Even CoCo looks adorable in one!!
Love it 😍
