During college, I worked as a makeup artist and was lucky enough to be able to try many different products without having to commit or waste money on. The best take away I have from that experience is the understanding of what to save and to splurge on. But with the makeup industry constantly evolving it is easy to end up having drawers full of products that we never use. So I wanted to share a few of my go-to favs.
Benamor Alantoine Hand CreamThis hand cream is soo incredible, I received it as a gift from my mother when she vacationed in Portugal, I haven’t stopped using it since. I really hate greasy hand cream that just sits on top of your skin, and this one gets absorbed pretty quickly, and smells lemony fresh.
Winky Lux 24K Glimmer Balm
I mean how cute is it? It’s definitely not your average chapstick or balm. It turns into a pink stain with a hint of gold. I also really love that it is paraben and cruelty-free.
Benefit Watt’s Up!
I love this highlighter it has has a champagne glow that won’t let you look like a disco ball. It super creamy which makes it easy to apply and blend in.
Loreal Carbon Black Mascara
Ok, so this has to be my ultimate favorite mascara, I think I have told every woman I know how great this drugstore buy is. If you are looking for long and defined lashes without all that yucky clumpiness this is a must!
Nars Orgasm Blush
The name of this blush makes me blush. I have worn this color forever, and there is nothing like it, its super natural and definitely gives you that afterglow look with its peachy pink tones.
MAC Semi-Sweet Times Nine Palette
This palette brings me from day to night, I hate having to scramble through a bunch of little containers to find the right colors I am looking for, and this does the trick.
MAC Lightful Tinted Cream SPF30
I really love this tinted moisturizers it really cuts down on the time I need to get ready, its makeup, SPF and moisturizer all in one.
MAC Next to Nothing Powder
This powder is lightweight and just gives me a soft almost airbrushed look, without looking cakey or dry.
Chanel Rouge COCO Gloss in Color Subtil
Because everyone needs a little Chanel in their life, this lip gloss is my date night fav. I know its a bit of a splurge at $30 a tube, but it’s totally worth it, it’s not sticky or tacky. Just smooth and hydrating.
Hope you like my fav picks as much as I do!
